We are helping Snack Pak 4 Kids. This is a program that makes sure school-aged children are able to get reliable and nutritious food with snacks that are send home to them over the weekend every Friday from their schools. This is a local cause in Amarillo, and it makes sure food insecurity, especially in these trying times is not an issue for our kids. One in four children in Texas are food insecure, and many depend on their daily lunches at school to get the meals and nourishment they need. With this program, they are able to have access to food in the form of a pack of many food and drink products so they have enough food during the weekend.
Right now when you purchase a new Subaru like the Outback or Crosstrek from our showroom, you can choose to have a donation by Subaru of America sent to Snack Pak 4 Kids. It's your way of being able to help those children in need locally, as we combat hunger among kids here in our area.
